Lawrence D. Bailey 5/30/1931 – 4/25/2015 Lawrence Bailey, 83, of Bryan, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, April 25, 2015. A time for family to receive friends will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Hillier Funeral Home. A service in his honor will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Hillier Funeral Home, 2301 E. 29th St, Bryan, TX with Kyle Incardona officiating. Interment will follow at Rest-Ever Memorial Park. Lawrence was born on May 30, 1931 to Crawford and Corine (Wright) Bailey in Cleveland, TX. He attended Texas A&M University. Lawrence was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Bryan. He was on the Board of Directors at First National Bank of Bryan, a member of NWSA, held a position on the board of Bryan Development Foundation, member of the 12th Man Foundation, member of Jaycee’s, as well other organizations. He loved to golf, fishing, and hunting. He was the owner of Bailey Oxygen and Tool Company, Inc. (BOTCO). He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Vicki Bailey Goldberg. Lawrence leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Helen; daughter, Terri Newman and husband Mark of Robertson County; grandchildren, Blake and Christopher of Austin.
