Donna Lou Evans Harrison June 8, 1956 – April 23, 2015 Donna Harrison, who enjoyed life to its fullest for over 58 years, of College Station, TX, left this earth to be an angel on April 23, 2015. She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Jim Harrison; sister, Rhonda Drake; as well as her children, Salina Grisham, Mallisa Perwerton, Alex Evans, and Torrey Harrison; 8 grandchildren, Sierra Koudelka, Kirstie Karonka, Killian Koudelka, Kendell Karonka, Kaden Evans, Mason Helm, Abby Perwerton, and Carter Helm; son-in-laws, Brian Perwerton and Randy Helm; and numerous pseudo adopted children and grandchildren to watch over from above. This amazing woman was born on June 8, 1956 to her devoted parents Donald and Lucille Evans in El Paso, TX, who will greet her in Heaven. She attended high school in Calvert and North Zulch, TX. Donna went on to her own adventure in Houston, TX, becoming one of the first women to sell cars in a male dominated industry. She then came back to the Brazos Valley to call it home for the last 30 years and raise her family. Donna met many of her friends and extra kids while owning and managing a tuxedo rental store. Donna battled stage 4 breast cancer for 8 years and was an advocate for breast cancer research. Her life was an inspiration to so many and she will be treasured by too many to count. She encouraged self-improvement and independence in all she met. Donna never met a stranger and took in every stray from extra kids to cats or a goat. Her life and endeavors will be celebrated at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan, TX on May 2nd with a visitation from Noon – 2 PM and a celebration of life to begin at 2 PM.
