Mary Kay Seago Dallis
October 11, 1944- October 20, 2015
“I love you more… I love you mostest” a phrase Mary Dallis lived her life by.
Mary was born in Wichita, Kansas on October 11, 1944 to Eugene Lester Seago and Donna Faye Rankin. She was the oldest of six children and was the second mother to her siblings. Her heart and her smile were larger than life and her intentions were noble.
Growing up, Mary went to school to become a nun. Her faith ran strong and her love for God was undeniable. She was a Greek Orthodox Christian; a woman of pride, dignity, and integrity who dedicated her life and spirit to God.
Through life’s beautiful journey, Mary came across an honorable man who captured her heart. She was unquestionably and undeniably in love and married her devoted husband, Athanasios “Tommy” Dallis on April 8, 1968. The day Mary met Tommy was the best day of her life. Together they continued to grow their happiness by building a beautiful family with four sons; Costa A. Dallis, Christos A. Dallis, Panagiotis “Taki” Dallis, and Andreas A. Dallis.
Mary’s family and friends will always remember her as loving, proud, strong, and selfless. She absolutely loved to shop, especially for others. She also found great joy in sewing and the art of calligraphy. Mary took great pride in caring for her home. She would iron clothes to perfection and made sure her house was as clean and pristine as possible. Mary was a woman on a mission, and nothing ever got in the way of her determination.
Her love lives on in her family and friends: husband, Athanasios “Tommy” Dallis; sons, Costa A. Dallis and wife April, Christos A. Dallis, Panagiotis “Taki” Dallis and wife Maurisa, and Andreas A. Dallis and wife Sarah; siblings, Tara and George Sopasakis, Shelley and Steve Mcintosh, Donna Forsse, Daniel and Anna Seago, Mark and Teresa Seago; eight grandchildren; and many other beloved family and friends.
