Geraldine “Gerry” Clancy December 19, 1927 – April 16, 2014 Gerry Clancy, 86, of Bryan, went to be with her Lord on April 16, 2014. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday April 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan. Interment will occur at a future date in Oak Rest Cemetery in Medina, Texas. Gerry was born on December 19, 1927 to Ed and Ella (Whitehead) in Port Arthur, Texas. She graduated from Brackenridge High School in San Antonio, Texas in 1946. Gerry was a member of the Alanon Family, giving her time and gifts to help other in need of her support and guidance. She was an Avon representative for over 17 years and a consistent member of the Avon Presidents Club. Although Gerry’s obsession was leopard skin, her passion was collecting her beloved giraffes. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis Clancy; two sons, Robert Pierce Bethea III, and Steven Alan Bethea; two brothers, Gerald Long, and Kenneth Long; and her dog Poncho. Gerry leaves behind two daughters, Diane Molina and her husband Eugene, Tara Bullock and her husband Paul; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
