James Ray Walker

James, 80, of Bryan, went to be with his Lord on August 12, 2014. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Rosewood Cemetery in Humble, Texas.
James was born on September 7, 1933 to Zona (Lemoine) and Joseph Walker in Cypress, Louisiana.
He was a member of the Church of Christ in Trinity, Texas. James retired from Missouri Pacific Railroad where he worked for many years; he loved to sing in church, and enjoyed time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife Bobbie Nell Walker, daughter Peggy Denise, son James Edward and his parents.
James leaves behind daughter, Malinda Hight and husband Ricky; grandchildren, Rachell Callahan and husband Anthony, Karen Qualline and husband Randy, Shannon Straps, Derek Walker and wife Janet, Serena Middleton and husband Zack and Michael Walker; 7 great grandchildren, Brother Donald Walker and wife Mary Jo and numerous nieces and nephews.
