Mufford S. Caston
June 26, 1931 – August 18, 2014
Mufford, 83, of Bryan, passed away on August 18, 2014. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Oakwood Cemetery in Bryan.
Mufford was born on June 26, 1931 to Mamie (Smith) and Mufford Caston in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
He enlisted in the military in 1947 and served in both the Korean War and Vietnam Conflict then he retired in 1968. He also worked as a mail room supervisor for the state of Washington. After retirement he enjoyed his life with his late wife Mellownee in Bryan, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his wife Mellownee; his parents, his brothers, Robert, Charles and Mabel Caston.
Mufford leaves behind children, Jacqueline Smith and Terry Caston; sister, Queenis Caston Coleman, seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, six great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews
