Wayland James Eller
July 23, 2006 – August 30, 2014
Wayland “WayWay” Eller passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014. A time for family to receive friends will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Noon on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Hillier Funeral Home, 2301 E. 29th Street in Bryan. Funeral services will begin immediately following at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. at Bryan City Cemetery.
Wayland was born on July 23, 2006 in Leesville, Louisiana to Ashley Eller. He was his mama’s little helper, and was always there when his family or friends needed him. He spent many hours helping his mother while she was on bed rest with his little sister, Amaya. WayWay’s selfless nature made him the peacekeeper in the house, especially when it came to Chloe, his older sister. She was a role model for him and their sibling rivalry was a constant at home. He took care of everyone around him, his family always came first.
WayWay loved Ninja Turtles (especially Leonardo), and video games, including Mario Kart, Lego Undercover and Zelda. Wayland’s goal was to be either a firefighter or a police officer and loved watching any TV show that was about crime fighting. He was very independent and took great pride in his appearance. Wayland always had an opinion and would share it with anyone who would listen, as long as he had the last word.
Wayland’s legacy will be continued through his mother, Ashley Eller and Chris Denson; sisters, Chloe Eller and Amaya Denson; grandparents, Gary “Poppa” and Connie “Nanna” Eller; uncle, Daniel “Uncle BB” Eller; and numerous extended family and friends.
Please share memories and tributes to Wayland at www.hillierfuneralhome.com.
